This is the Bowen eARTh ‘River’ Dining Table. This table took over one year to create from start to finish. It is made from several types of wood from top to bottom. The legs are old fir posts that I hand lathed individually. The middle of the table is made up of red cedar planks that are framed in with pine. The circular wood rounds in the river section of the table top are cut from large cherry tree branches, then inset into the table. The bench is also made from the same exact materials as the table top.
This dining room table sits 8 people comfortably with plenty of leg room beneath the table. The center rounds in the river sections of both the table top and bench are coated with a high gloss finish that causes them to reflect the light in the environment. This gives the centers a vibrant glowing like appearance under any lighting.
